I'm Amanda, the creative force behind Mercer Leather Co.
By day, I'm a Critical Care RN with a passion for philosophy. By night (and any spare moment), I channel my love for fine leather into the art and craft of leatherwork.
At Mercer Leather Co., we've been crafting custom pieces since 2017, blending heritage craftsmanship with premium materials to create timeless leather goods.
The Art
At Mercer Leather Co., we're dedicated to creating exceptional pieces using the finest premium leathers sourced from renowned global tanneries like Wickett & Craig, Tatra, Horween, La Perla Azzura, MPG Industria Conciaria, Rocado, Concertia Walpier, and Shinki Hikaku.
Every item is meticulously handcrafted in our workshop right here in scenic NE Tennessee. We take pride in preserving the art of leatherwork, employing time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
Our pieces feature a curated selection of premium leathers, each chosen for its quality, character, and durability. From buttery Horween Dublin to supple Italian vegetable-tanned hides, we ensure that every material meets our exacting standards.
Each piece is stitched by hand using premium threads such as Ritza Tiger Thread, Fil au Chinois Lin Cable, MeiSi, and Vinymo, ensuring durability and attention to detail in every stitch.
